Mary’s Story. She is 30 years old.
Mary’s story is great. Mary found herself pregnant and out of work. The story illustrates her hard fought battle against homelessness and the drive she had to improve her situation.
But I was so motivated to make things better for myself and the staff at the shelter saw that and helped all they could. Another woman living there told me about a program that might be able to help me get back into a home.
What we like about this story is the hopeful ending. Her desperate situation changed Mary’s heart and passion. She now wants to help others with the sociology degree she is working towards.
