You are an Advocate

Facing Stories

Sharing your knowledge through your own personal story, or through someone you know who has been in a domestic violence relationship, helps spread awareness to teens and others in an abusive relationship.  Break the Cycle organization rallies teens, families, friends and communities to be advocates to end teen dating violence… “Break the Cycle works hard to provide advocates against dating violence with the necessary tools and resources to create effective change for youth.”

Through education, training, services, family and community involvement, we can make a difference in protecting teens in domestic violence situations. We can move toward positive changes in the way that policies are developed and availability of legal protection not only for adults, but our teens as well. For more information about what action you can take to be an active advocate check out Break The Cycle’s page
