Drug abuse is a growing problem in our community. And to combat that, Union College has taken on the project of telling the stories of individuals whose lives have been affected by drug abuse. But to tell those stories, we need your help.
We’re looking for writers to provide voices to those whose lives have been affected by drug abuse. We need volunteers to take on the voice and persona of a particular person and write a compelling, first-person narrative.
Anyone in the Knox County or Union College community is encouraged to help. If you’re interested in sharing your talents as a writer and storyteller to help us raise awareness for a chronic problem, you will need to submit a writing sample to mclouse@unionky.edu.
