Welcome Our Interns to The Facing Project Team

The Facing Project has expanded our team, and we are happy to announce the hiring of two Content Marketing and Outreach Coordinators:  Josh Fern and Amber Griffin.

Josh is a senior at Ball State University studying communications with minors in counseling and business management. After graduating in May of 2014, he plans to attJosh pic for bio small 1end graduate school for Public Administration. Josh’s hope is to work in the nonprofit sector or for a government organization to help create successful and sustainable communities. He has volunteered for several organizations as he is passionate about helping people in need—specifically those in poverty. Josh also loves running, playing guitar, hiking, coffee, and a good laugh.

Amber is enrolled in her final semester at Ball State University as a communications major. She is excited to be on The Facing Project’s team and hopes to help it grow so that even morOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAe communities can speak up about important issues going on around them. Amber believes that bullying is an urgent issue that is often muted in many communities, and she has even been bullied herself. One of her goals is to find Facing communities who can speak up and raise awareness for bullying. Aside from working with The Facing Project and studying at Ball State, she enjoys spending her time reading and volunteering.

Josh and Amber will assist with increasing efforts to raise awareness about The Facing Project and bringing on new Facing communities.  We are delighted to have them as part of our crew.
